Personal Training


The best way to achieve your fitness goals is to take advantage of the skilled NCIE Personal Training Team. One-on-one or small group training can be scheduled to suit your lifestyle and your fitness goals.

How does it work?

Your trainer will build a personalised fitness program which can include techniques like: weights, high intensity cardio, kettle bells, complex movements, boxing or aquatics based exercises. You name your goals like: strength gains, cardio endurance, increased flexibility, core strength or just general fitness.

Cost

Sessions start at $70 for 45 minutes of one-on-one personal training with discounts available for pre-purchased multi-packs. We can also offer small group training sessions so you can split the cost with friends.

From as early as 6am or as late as 8pm on weekdays & weekends*.

  4. Meet with your trainer to discuss your goals and create a personalised training plan.
  5. You’re off and training!

I have always been a fan of sport and played basketball throughout high school, took up kick boxing afterwards, and weight lifting/body building in my early 20’s. Even though I was very fit and thought I was healthy, it wasn’t till I was diagnosed with an IBD that I realised there’s an emotional aspect to health which triggers us all if we don’t learn to take ownership of it and channel it for the better. I then decided I want to be a mentor and lead by example, so I studied personal training and youth work.

Over the years I’ve been involved in many sports including basketball, cricket, athletics, rugby union and rugby league. Rugby is what brought me here to Australia in January 2016. Sydney is where I’ve settled and I’m now looking forward to sharing my passion for fitness and helping others find and achieve their training goals.

As a former player for the Australian Fijian Rugby League, my instincts and love of the game eventually saw me turn to the training of current players.
Being involved with AFRL (Australian Fijian Rugby League) as a pathway for our players leading to NRL teams. Being able to watch them grow and succeed in the sport has been a major highlight of my career.
This can also been said about weight loss challenges, where my guidance assisted in a positive transformation of clients' bodies and their overall lifestyle.

My best experience was with a client who was diagnosed with mild Parkinson’s Disease. We trained for two months, following a specific training plan. Our re-testing at the end showed that he gained strength and reduced his waist volume.

I was working with spinal cord injury patients. These patients need to learn how to walk, brush their teeth and even clothe themselves all over again, as if they were learning it for the first time. I was working with a young woman who had not been able to walk in 2 years following an accident to her spinal cord. After 6 months of muscle activation for her muscles to be used again, of strengthening her mind-to-body connection and counselling her through the tough stages … she took her first step! Amazing is an understatement, a truly profound moment.
