Come in and take a look at what’s now on offer at the NCIE Fitness Centre!
Earlier in 2018 NCIE Fitness Centre underwent a massive upgrade of spaces, equipment and furniture which also included ramping up the retail, and food and drink offerings at the café.
Starting with the fundamentals – a change of coffee supplier and an upgraded machine – a wider range of food and drink was added, new NCIE gym and swim merch went on sale, then a range of products from Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander artists and producers came on line.
Working Together T-shirt
To top it off, we commissioned Gomeroi/Gamilaraay artist Dennis Golding to produce our first NCIE art t-shirt. This is the first time we’ve collaborated with an artist for a t-shirt and we’re so proud to be working with Dennis.
The artwork on the shirt, Working Together was created exclusively for NCIE and encompasses the values and aims of Indigenous Excellence in sports, health and wellbeing. This beautiful t-shirt is on sale at the NCIE Fitness cafe for $40.00. Read more about the t-shirt here.
Also on sale are artworks, baskets, jewellery, body products, candles and giftware, yoga mats, towels, budgy smugglers and swimmers from a whole range of Indigenous suppliers.
