March was a busy month here at the NCIE with a number of big events and conferences held in our facilities. We were delighted to host the Australian Taxation Office for their two day Indigenous Employee Roundtable, which included a Gala Dinner held in the basketball stadium.

“From the first call to final pack up, the staff at the NCIE were professional, friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much effort.”

The delicious indigenous infused menu included a range of tasty options, such as Sydney rock oysters with finger lime dressing, bush spiced marinated lamb shanks on warrigal greens and a dark chocolate and wattle seed tartlet for dessert. All the food was prepared onsite by our qualified staff. We can cater for all dietary requirements and the menu can be tailored to suit your needs to ensure your event is a memorable and unique experience.

“The staff were excellent at all times…during the Gala dinner the service and staff were above and beyond our expectations. I was very impressed.”

TRY OUR SUNSET SPRITZER FOR A SPECIAL EASTER HOLIDAY TREAT

Mix apple juice, freshly grated ginger or ginger cordial with soda water. Serve with a rosella flower and a dash of rosella syrup.

“Rosella is native to coastal NSW and QLD. It’s great in summer salads, drinks, jams or dried to make tea. The flowers are edible and the petals make an attractive addition to any special event.” NCIE Ambassador Aunty Beryl.
