Health and Fitness Team Member

About the Job
Health and Fitness team members support the fitness activities and participation of members on the gym floor, transition interested clients into personal training, engage members in group fitness sessions and grow membership and member retention.

Our purpose built community Fitness Centre is 2,000 members strong, and open to all.  We currently have 40% Indigenous membership. This role is offered on a Casual basis, with up to 15 hours per week capacity required for gym floor and opportunity to take on 1-2 permanent group fitness classes per week.

About You
• You will have a tertiary certificate/ degree in Fitness, Physical Education or similar.
• Current Provide First Aid (HLTAID001) certificate.
• Kettlebell or Box-fit certificate(s) would be well regarded.
• Experience designing and instructing small group training.
• You will have, or be able to obtain a NSW Working with Children clearance – see
• You will have a capacity to work early mornings (6-9 am) or evenings (4 – 9 pm) or day shifts Monday – Friday.
• You will demonstrate a high level of customer service to a diverse range of clients.
